Because of 450% elasticity of the paint, the coated bars do not develop any cracks on bending during the use at site.

The strong anticorrosion property helps the coating to keep the bars rust free for long time with even very low DFT coating in comparison to conventional Re-bar coating.

The bond strength between the concrete and steel get reduced by 20% with Conventional Re-bar coating material but with Meta-Chem Re-bar Coating material the bond strength increased by 10 to 15% in comparison to that of uncoated bar and concrete.

The structural designer use at least 20% additional steel to compensate the loss of strength with conventional Re-bar coating paint. With Meta-Chem Re-bar Coating material, this additional steel is not required.

The Thermoplastic Character of Meta-Chem Paint helps to repair the damaged area of the coated bar at site with out compromising the quality of coating. All conventional Re-bar coating paint is thermosetting in nature and damage repair at site is not possible with out compromising the quality.

Meta-Chem Re-bar coating can be done at site and transportation cost to the Factory can be saved unlike the Fusion Epoxy Coating which is possible only in the Factory.

Because of Elastic Property of Meta-Chem Re-bar coating material, it will help in designing Earthquake Resistant Structure which is not possible with any conventional Re-bar coating material.
