The company was incorporated in the year 1994 for the manufacture of speciality surface coating material like Anticorrosive Coating, Waterproof Coating, Floor coating etc. The company had ventured into this field inspite of the presence of big multinational giants like Asian Paint, Goodlas Nerolac etc. This was a daunting task in the beginning.

However today our presence is felt in the market only on account of superiority in quality of our product and our professional and honest approach to the business. It was only possible as the man behind this venture Mr.B.Panja had confidence and capability and self conviction about the quality of the product. It will not be out of place to mention here that we have been able to prove our superiority regarding the quality of product over these multinational giants in the market and there are several buyers who preferred our material to these products.

It was only possible because of the man behind the show, Mr. B Panja who had the vision about the viability of this project. This particular range of products was developed by him with relentless research work for over five years. Mr. Panja is basically a Polymer Technologist and had experience of about 30 years in polymer field. During the course of the research work he developed graft co- polymers which have got anticorrosive and waterproofing properties.

Mr. B.Panja had a strong belief that these polymers could be commercially exploited in the field of manufacture of surface coating material. With this view in mind he had started manufacturing Anticorrosive and Waterproof Coatings. Encouraged by the market response, he has further extended the application of above polymer to other fields like Antifouling Coating for Shipping Industries, Floor coating for the Industries in general and Anticorrosive Cum Sound Dampening Paint for Automotive Industries and Reinforcement Bar coating for the construction industries.

The quest for the development resulted in developing another polymer based chemical which is an import substitute of paper waterproof coating chemical. We are proud to state here that for the above development the name of Mr. Panja was recommended to the Technology Development Board for the National Award. Recently, we have developed a non-plastic, biodegradable, food grade, heat sealable coating for paper which has water resistant, oil resistant and heat sealing property. These products will be the real sustainable sustitute of the use of plastics in packaging industries.

In the year 2006 we converted the original company Meta-Chem Paints & Adhesives in to a Private Limited Company. Now for all types of Thermoplastic Polymer Coating / Paint and All Paper Coating Materials, we operate from Meta-Chem Paints & Adhesives Pvt. Ltd. having Registered office at plot.no. G-34/3, MIDC, Satpur, Nasik – 422007, Maharashtra, India.

In the year 2009 we got our Anticorrosive Car Underbody Coating Co-Branded with Maruti Suzuki India Limited as a Premium Coating and launched the product in All India in the month of February 2009.,Co-Branded with General Motors in the moth of May 2009 and Co Branded with Hindustan Motors June 2009. Since 2010 we are maintaining the structures of 200 Kv line of Reliance Infrastructures which is along the coastline of Maharashtra. Also we are associated with L&T Ltd. for various projects for Re-bar coating since 2010. We are also maintaining the towers of Maharashtra State Transmission Corp Ltd (MSTCL) since 2001 and Pickling Line of Thyssen Kurpp Igatpuri Steel Plant since 2000. In 2016 Eicher Bus Division started using our coating for their bus underbody.

Mr. B. Panja, the Managing Director of the Company, has got the Award “Indian Leadership Award For Industrial Development” on National basis for outstanding Contribution in the Polymer Field in the year 2011. In fact we have developed certain products having Innovative Results which is not even known Internationally. We are really very happy to learn that our innovative developments are also being recognized in the National level. For commercialization of the developed technology, our Company is awarded with “BHARATIYA UDYOG RATAN AWARD” in the year 2012. Our Managing Director is also awarded with “Achiever of The Millennium Award – 2012” in the year 2012 for his development of Innovative Reinforcement Bar Coating having exceptional properties excelling International benchmarks.

At present all our anti corrosive coatings are conforming to IS 16361 : 2015 and all paper coating materials are conforming to IS 17072 : 2019.
